Example:
運動はちょっとっていう人が多くて。
(There are many people who say they’re not good with sports.)
〜そうです
Meaning: I heard that…, it seems that…
Example:
小林君は日曜日はダメだそうです。
(I heard Kobayashi can’t make it on Sunday.)
〜といいんですけど
Meaning: It would be nice if…, I wish…
Example:
もう1人いるといいんですけど。
(It would be nice if we had one more person.)
連絡（れんらく）
Meaning: Contact; inform; notify.
Example:
スポーツ大会の連絡をする。
(Notify about the sports event.)
課長（かちょう）
Meaning: Section chief; department manager.
Example:
課長も出る。
(The section chief is also participating.)
仕方がない（しかたがない）
Meaning: It can’t be helped; nothing can be done.
Example:
仕方がないですね。
(It can’t be helped.)
